The MBX® Pneumatic Bristle Blaster is the ONLY hand-held power tool that strips old paint or corrosion and leaves an anchor pattern on steel, stainless steel and other materials, ensuring good coating adhesion to the bare metal.   as the bristle head spins, the patented MBX® accelerator bar directs the wire into the surface so that it impacts perpendicularly, removing corrosion or old coatings and leaving behind a tiny divot that is comparable to conventional blasting surface profiles The MBX can achieve an anchor pattern from 2.7 - 3.3 mil, as well as surface cleaniness according to SA 2.5 / SA 3 the patented air cooling system increases the service life of the flexible MBX® Bristle Blaster® belts. the unique design of the bristles allows them to retract after a single strike, imparting a profile but not grinding or polishing the surface (which leads to poor coating adhesion). A specially-designed gear reduction provides high torque while only turning 3,500 rpm. The low operating speed and tool weight of only 2.4 lbs ensures a high degree of work safety and easy, flexible handling. It's the best choice in difficult to reach areas and places where blasting is not feasible.
